A Bachelor (Licence) is an academic 3-year degree awarded by universities and some grandes écoles. The BTS is a 2-year professional qualification, shorter and geared toward fast entry into the job market.
The HND (Higher National Diploma) is a 2-year qualification in Cameroon's English-speaking system, equivalent to the BTS in the French-speaking system. It is offered in the North-West and South-West regions and by many private institutes (IPES).
