These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Skolasup platform, a guidance service connecting prospective higher-education students with educational institutions in Cameroon. By browsing the platform or creating an account, you fully accept these terms.
Skolasup operates a digital platform for discovering higher education in Cameroon: a catalogue of institutions and programs, career profiles, student reviews, a comparator and the forwarding of information requests to institutions. Skolasup is a technical intermediary: the platform is neither an educational institution nor an admissions body.
Access to the platform is free for students, parents and any visitor: browsing the catalogue, sending information requests, favorites, the comparator and reviews involve no payment. Certain services intended for institutions (full access to requests, analytics, featured placement) are paid and subject to specific terms. Skolasup strives to keep the service continuously available but cannot guarantee it absolutely (maintenance, incidents, force majeure).
Creating an account requires accurate, complete and up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account. An account is strictly personal (or, for an institution account, tied to the institution it represents). Notify us without delay of any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to use the platform fairly: do not post fake reviews or impersonate a third party, do not submit fictitious or bulk information requests, do not publish unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory content, and do not automatically extract or harvest data from the platform (scraping). Any breach may lead to suspension or deletion of the account.
By sending an information request, you expressly consent to your contact details (name, email, phone, education level, targeted program) being forwarded to the institution you chose to contact, so that it can respond to you directly. Skolasup is not a party to subsequent exchanges between you and the institution and plays no role in admission decisions. The processing of your data is detailed in our privacy policy.
Information about institutions and programs (fees, degrees, career outcomes, dates) is provided by the institutions themselves or drawn from public sources. Skolasup strives to verify its accuracy but cannot guarantee it: it is provided for guidance only and does not replace direct verification with the institution. Skolasup cannot be held liable for guidance or admission decisions, nor for the contractual relationship between a student and an institution.
The Skolasup brand, logo, visual identity, platform structure and content produced by Skolasup are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization is prohibited. Logos and content provided by institutions remain their property; they grant Skolasup a licence to display them on the platform.
You may delete your account at any time from your settings; your data is then deleted or anonymized in accordance with the privacy policy. Skolasup may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these terms, with prior notice where circumstances allow.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Cameroon. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the competent courts of Yaoundé (Cameroon) shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory legal provisions state otherwise.
