Students' trust is our first asset. This page explains in full transparency how results are ordered on Skolasup, what the badges shown on pages mean, and what advertising can — and cannot — influence.
By default, result lists are sorted by "relevance": how well they match your search (program, city, field), how complete the page is and how active the institution is. This sort may also favor partner institutions with a paid plan. You can switch to another sort at any time (name, reviews, cost): those sorts are never influenced by advertising.
When an institution benefits from a paid placement in a list or carousel, the "Sponsored" label is displayed on its card. No advertising placement is ever shown without this explicit disclosure.
The "Verified" badge means our team has checked the institution's essential information (existence, accreditations, contact details). The "Featured" badge signals an editorial selection based on page quality and interest for students. These badges follow editorial criteria and cannot be bought.
Student reviews are never edited or removed at an institution's request (apart from content breaching our moderation rules), and displayed ratings are computed the same way for everyone. No payment can improve a rating, hide a review or obtain an editorial badge. If you see anything that seems to contradict these principles, report it through the contact page.
